PASA Company and PASA Company Jr.

THE PASA COMPANY is designed to be an advanced professional training and production program for performers desiring to seriously pursue careers in musical theatre and film/stage acting. You do not need to already be a professional actor but you must be serious about developing a professional technique to maximize the use of your talent. The training you receive must be consistent with the level of performance skill you wish to attain.

COMPANY members will develop advanced performance techniques including vocal performance, acting and audition skills. Productions do not take the place of professional training and you will become a more confident and dynamic performer as a member of the PASA COMPANY! Acceptance is through audition only! (13-19 years old)

PASA COMPANY Jr. – The same dynamic productions and training with material appropriate for younger performers. Acceptance is through audition only!
(7-12 years old)

Cost: $700 annual membership fee (payment plans available)

PASA COMPANY productions will include full-length musicals and short films. You must be a COMPANY member to audition for these productions. No additional production fees are required. Costumes are included and no additional production performance fees are required. (Dance shoes and personal attire not included).

PASA will choose traditional Broadway productions and new works based upon the makeup of the COMPANY so all members have as much a time on stage as possible. Company members will participate in a short film during the year and receive a copy of the film. The Company and The Company Jr. productions will be separate although casting may overlap the groups depending on the characters required. Company members will also be cast in the ensemble numbers of other PASA productions where appropriate.

COMPANY members receive a 10% discount on PASA classes, intensives and workshops. COMPANY members also receive a group discount on tickets for PASA productions.

Special training opportunities and professional career guidance seminars will be offered to COMPANY members during the year at no extra charge! (1 per semester and 1 summer)

PASA Founder Vaughn Taylor starred in over 100 episodes of major network daytime programming including “Another World”, ”The Young & the Restless” and “Days of our Lives”. Vaughn was a Series Regular on the award winning ABC Saturday Morning/Focus on the Family series “McGee & Me.” She has also appeared across the country in numerous shows including “Funny Girl”, “Camelot”, “Annie Get Your Gun” and “Bye Bye Birdie” working with amazing award winning stars like Cesar Romero, Earl Holliman and Larry Linville. Having starred in over 250 national commercials including “Chrysler”, “Tide”, “Coca-Cola”, “Palmolive” , “Spic-n-Span” , “Skippy Peanut Butter”, “Pop Tarts” and “Anacin”. Vaughn was also the spokeswoman for “Hasboro Toys”, “Tussy Deodorant” and “Pan-Am”. Ms. Taylor starred in multiple Industrial Films for “Subaru”, “California Tax Initiatives” and “3 M” and her voice was featured in multiple episodes of the Focus on the Family radio series “Adventures in Odyssey.” Other credits include first female voice of KFSG 96.3 Christian Radio in Los Angeles and she was a founding member of the award winning Actors-Co-Op Theatre Company in Hollywood. Vaughn has been blessed to be mentored as a Writer/Director by Gene Reynolds and Larry Gelbart (“MASH”, “Oh God”, “Tootsie” and “Touched By An Angel”) and at present has written 2 films distributed by Lionsgate Films, directing one and starring in both.

PASA Founder Paul Tinder has starred in over 450 episodes of major network daytime programming including “Another World”, ”Days of our Lives”, “Edge of Night”, “Another Life” and “The Young and Restless”. “He has also Guest Starred in numerous network primetime television shows including “Magnum P.I.”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Bionic Woman”, “Dallas”, “Hunter”, “A-Team” and multiple episodes of “New Love American Style” and “Knots Landing”. Paul has also been featured in many motion pictures including Garry Marshall’s “Overboard” and “Frankie & Johnny”. Paul starred in 2 “Bob Hope Specials” for NBC and had the amazing experience of Ad-Libbing with Bob Hope on Live National T.V. In addition to Mr. Hope, Paul has been fortunate to work with stars like Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer and George Peppard. He has also starred in over 150 major national and regional commercials including, among others, “Coca-Cola”, “Rolex”, “Beck’s Beer”, “Oldsmobile” and over 25 individual “Monsanto Round-Up” projects for television. Paul has starred in numerous Industrial Films including multiple projects for “Century 21 Real Estate”,”Pepsi”,”Kaiser Permanente” and “Monsanto Round-Up”. He has produced and starred in 2 films distributed by Lionsgate Films. Paul was a founding member of the award winning Actors Co-Op Theatre Company in Hollywood. Paul had the privilege to be mentored as a Director/Producer by Garry Marshall (“Pretty Woman”, “The Princess Diaries”, “Runaway Bride”, “Valentine’s Day”, “Happy Days”, “Laverne & Shirley” and “Mork & Mindy”).
