Other acting schools promise to get you in front of casting directors and agents, whether or not you are even prepared for that kind of exposure. We promise to get you ready to be in front of casting directors and agents.

You don’t have to sacrifice the training in order to have fun. You can have them both at PASA.

SouthCoast Theatre and Film recently premiered Last Words, based on the story of real-life cowboy Bat Masterson, in December of 2011 to a sold-out house at Alamo Drafthouse in San Antonio. The film is currently receiving consideration from several well-known companies for distribution. Several of our students seen here (click) appeared in the film.

From our experience in hundreds of television shows, movies, and stage productions, we know what it takes to make it in the industry.  We’ll help you get to where you want to be–without burning bridges along the way. To quote a local casting director, “If you can’t find an acting instructor in IMDB, you don’t want to study with them.”

But don’t take our word for it.  Here is what one parent has to say about how we structure our classes:

“My daughter has been studying acting with Paul and Vaughn at Performing Arts San Antonio for over a year now. It never ceases to amaze me how much she has grown as a performer during that time–especially when compared to other programs in the area that we have tried. What strikes me the most is how hard they work to make their program fair for all the students in the production class. Instead of choosing a play where some kids end up having big parts and other kids are left with much smaller roles, Paul and Vaughn choose productions so everyone gets equal time on stage to learn and have fun. Everyone pays the same amount of money, so they make sure everyone gets equal time and attention. I always know that my tuition is going as far as everyone else’s, and that my daughter is going to learn as much as possible from the instructors. That is how the workshops in L.A. and Hollywood are structured, and I’m thrilled my daughter can have such a great experience here in Texas.”  –Rana Burr, mother of Olivia Burr

In addition, we are committed to bringing creative film projects with heartland values to San Antonio. With six films currently in development, our production company has the potential of providing real work for local actors. Watch the interviews with Randy Travis and Eric Roberts, stars of The Long Ride Home to catch a glimpse of the “PASA-bilities.”
