Spring Break 2010 Student Testimonials: San Antonio Acting on Film
“Paul and Vaughn are not just your typical garden-variety teachers looking for a moment of fame or a few extra dollars. Their commitment, dedication, enthusiasm and skill far surpass most we’ve worked with in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston. They teach with love and show the utmost integrity in every aspect of their work. I am proud that Caitlin’s had this opportunity to work with two of the best and I look for many more positive, growth-producing classes and productions with these fine people. Thank you, Vaughn and Paul, for a job well-done!”
-Candace Christiansen and Caitlin

“It is refreshing to have a resource like PASA here in San Antonio. Paul and Vaughn Tinder provide the high level of performing arts instruction that we have been in search of. Their gentle guidance and professional methods have greatly increased our daughter’s acting capabilities in a very short amount of time. Paul and Vaughn conduct classes in a manner that is both engaging and enjoyable for the participants, while holding their students to a high standard that brings their talents to the surface. We are thrilled that PASA is here to offer authentic acting and musical theatre classes!”
-Brian and Natalie Lillibridge
“I fell in love with Paul and Vaughn after my daughter, Olivia, attended one of their summer intensives in 2009. We had been involved with another program for the entire year prior and did not see the results that we saw after one week with them. We simply did not want our budding actress studying with anyone else from that day forward. You can imagine how pleased we were when they opened the doors of their new performing arts studio. San Antonio acting classes have never been as professional as they are with Paul and Vaughn. They are masters of their craft with an extraordinary passion for teaching.”
-Rana Burr and Olivia
“I just finished an intensive week studying method acting under the expert tutelage of Mr. Paul Tinder at PASA (Performing Arts San Antonio). It was a really great class and we all had a lot of fun together. Our parents were invited to view our video rough cuts on Friday evening. And to top the evening off, my fellow actors surprised me with a group rendition of my “Why Do We Have a Moon?” monologue. I loved it! Thank you everybody!!!”
-Milo Pierce Stephenson
“My family loves everything about PASA. Paul and Vaughn genuinely believe in children. With great knowledge, enthusiasm, and patience they provide a great acting experience to all the students they teach. I was born and raised in San Antonio, and it is an honor to have two of the best in the business move to our community. The knowledge that my granddaughter has received, in such a short period of time, has far exceeded our expectations. Our granddaughter is in high school and is home schooled. PASA provides convenient class times, and they will not put high school students together with young students, just to make a class. Our family is really looking forward to Elizabeth taking two classes this year. Also, thank you Paul and Vaughn for having such great Christian values.”
-Eve Sharp and Elizabeth Hill
“We are from Mexico and we were afraid to sign our daughter Valeria up for an “English only” 4 week Musical Theatre Pro Camp in San Antonio (even though she speaks English fairly well for her age). At the end, the results were more than great. Paul Tinder and Vaughn Taylor, the founders and directors of Performing Arts San Antonio were so kind with her. They are very passionate and dedicated to their profession and gave her extra help in vocalizing and speaking as an English language performer. During the four weeks, she learned not only how to act and sing in a play, but also how to behave backstage, how to interact with colleagues, teachers and technicians, how to manage lockers, costumes and props. At the end of the camp, besides the learning experience, my daughter found a lot of good friends in her teachers and her class mates. She is now counting the days till she can come back for another 4 week “PASA Pro Camp” summer play… see you there!”
