I was talking with the mom of one of our acting students the other day.  She told me that her daughter was confused about pursuing acting because she was a Christian and wanted to do things that honored God.

So I shared with her that now is a great time to be involved in the entertainment world because doors that had been closed are starting to open for film and theatre projects that have a moral and ethical center.

Life is all about choices.  I told her we choose projects that are consistent with our morals, ethics and faith.  It can be done.

There will be projects that you don’t want to be involved in because of the content, but there are more and more projects being developed that allow you to use your talents in an inspirational environment.

We’ll be talking more, but it was encouraging to her mom that you don’t have to turn your back on God given talents. If we turn our backs on the entertainment industry who will change it for the better?

That got her thinking!
